In order to start making big, bold choices you need to first determine what excites and amazes you about the character. Ask yourself, what is the story that resonates with you about this character? What makes you the best person to tell the story because you understand it better than any one else?
Make the most of what you have seen or experienced. What is the story you want to tell? Drawing attention to something that amazes, excites or stimulates you is often enough. If it fascinates you, it is likely to fascinate others.
In his book “The Art of Creative Thinking”, Rod Judkins believes, “Creativity can be as simple as pointing out something incredible that everyone else hasn’t noticed.” Do your homework. Note down anything that excites you, no matter how small. If it left an impression on you, it will leave an impression on others.
