Fringe is once again upon us. And, as before, The Actors Hub is presenting four new shows starring the Hub recent graduates and students.  Each show is completely different and challenges the actors in different ways.

When The Actor’s Hub says they are serious about developing actors in every sense – they aren’t joking” ★★★★½ Fringefeed, 2021
Opening on Wednesday, 24th of January, with a new narrative crafted with The Actors’ Hubs signature character creation process. Start your new year off with a bang, and get you and your friends tickets today.

"The Great Collapse" (Jan 24, Feb 1, 9, 17):

When forests world-wide begin retreating back into the Earth en masse, the panic button is pressed and a secret coven gather together to address the great collapse that threatens the survival of humanity.

The show is created using the Actors’ Hub’s unique process: the actors are given a premise and tasked with the challenge of creating a character before the story is written and then the writer writes them all into a scenario which becomes the script.

"ODE" (Jan 25, Feb 2, 10, 14):

Ode pays homage to those at the height of their craft. An inspiring and motivating celebration of their greatest moments and the qualities that made them great. Youll see Johnny Depp, Leonardo Dicaprio, Timothee Chalamet, Harrison Ford, Christian Bale, Christopher Reeve.  What a line-up!

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston S. Churchill

Edward Albee's "The Zoo Story" (Jan 26, Feb 3, 7, 15):

When a quiet, reserved, middle-class man has his peaceful Sunday afternoon disrupted by a stranger desperately searching for connection, he must hold back his initial fears to maintain his civilised demeanour, or else risk unleashing his true animalistic shadow.”
This absurdist, black comedy was a Broadway sell out! Filled with twists and turns, and a massive finale.  But of course Edward Albee’s signature comedic duologue takes the cake!

“ID" (Jan 27, 31, Feb 8, 16):

An explosive physical theatre performance, “ID” immerses us in the dizzying heights and, at times, suffocating lows of real people’s lives. It dives deep into the heart of IDENTITY. Who am I? Why am I? Who are you? Can we ever truly know someone?

Using verbatim theatre, “ID” offers a completely truthful 360-degree view on people’s thoughts around the topic of identity in our current culture. It is a bold, charming, explosive, honest, (sometimes flamboyant) exploration of what makes you… you.

“The Zoo Story” is presented by arrangement with ORiGiN Theatrical On Behalf of Samuel French A Concord Theatricals Company
