Our production company, The Actors’ Hub Studios, after a WA regional tour, is returning  to Perth with two of the shows from The Blind Eye Trilogy — a powerful theatre experience driving meaningful cultural change across Western Australia.

• A heartfelt story that reimagines love, connection, and healing in families and communities, Is There Anybody Out There? takes you on a poignant, sometimes haunting journey through the myths of romantic love and the realities of family violence. It blends real and imagined stories to envision hope, healing, and the possibility of new beginnings.

In a world buzzing with colour, charm, and chaos, Beatrice and Benedick are two razor-sharp minds who would rather win an argument than fall in love. Armed with killer wit and sexual tension thick enough to slice with a cocktail umbrella. But when their friends play matchmaker, the games begin — and the line between love and loathing gets deliciously blurred.

Meanwhile, lovebirds Claudio and Hero prove that communication wasn’t any easier before mobile phones — especially after a few too many drinks — and when wedding plans are thrown into chaos by deceit and jealousy, even the sharpest minds must learn shut up and listen to their hearts.

Set to the rhythm of a 70s-inspired world where love and laughter never go out of style, this production celebrates Shakespeare’s sharpest comedy with a fresh, funky twist.
